Peter Seidel is a Partner in SingerLewak’s Specialty Tax Group.

Experience

Peter has more than 18 years of experience working in the state and local tax field. He specializes in multistate income tax, multistate sales tax, controversy and appeals matters. He has also assisted clients with property tax and credits matters. Prior to joining SingerLewak in 2015, Peter was a state tax manager with a Big 4 accounting firm, as well as a state tax manager in private industry (software).

Peter earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of St. Thomas (Minnesota), his Masters Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and his J.D. and LL.M (tax) degrees from William Mitchell College of Law. He is a member of the Minnesota Bar, the AICPA, and is active with the California Bar Association (Tax Section), and the American Bar Association (Tax Section). He is also chair of the national state and local special interest group (SIG) for the affiliate firms of PrimeGlobal. Peter has presented at several conferences for various industry groups on various state and local tax matters. He has also authored several articles in tax publications on various state and local tax matters.
