Michael Daoud

Founder & CEO at Visus LLCMichael started two companies. The first is Visus LLC an enterprise software development firm focused on developing custom business applications that help companies succeed in the marketplace through innovative thinking and a unique approach to product development.

Michael was also the co-founder of XShot LLC, a manufacturer of consumer products for the digital photography market. Michael invented an ingenious device called the XShot to allow people to take better pictures of themselves with family and friends. The XShot selfie-stick was well received and sold internationally.  The company was sold to a private party in 2013.

Michael is a graduate of UCSB and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree with Honors in Electrical Engineering. Michael is also a graduate of UCLA’s Anderson School of Management where he completed the Management Development for Entrepreneurs program.

Michael has served on several non-profit boards including the MIT Enterprise Forum's board of directors in Santa Barbara.

Michael speaks four languages and enjoys spending time with his family and friends, exercising, listening to music, reading, and traveling.
