Karen Miessner

Karen is a highly experienced professional and a valuable asset to the industry. She is a member of various prestigious organizations such as the AICPA, the California Society of CPAs, and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Karen received her undergraduate training at Texas Tech University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Phoenix. She is also a member of the AICPA Not-for-Profit Expert Panel and serves as the chair of the CalCPA nonprofit discussion group for the Los Angeles Chapter. In addition, Karen is on the advisory board for the Valley Nonprofit Resource Group and serves on the board of directors of C5 Youth Foundation of Southern California and YWCA of Greater Los Angeles. She is the chair of the audit committee of C5. Karen is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Fraud Examiner with over 21 years of experience serving not-for-profit organizations in various capacities, including independent auditor, consultant, CFO, board member, and volunteer. Her vast experience and expertise have given her a practical and informed approach to serving her clients.
