Carl Grifka, PMP, CISA, CISM, CISSP, CDPSE

Carl Grifka specializes in internal audit, governance and risk assessments, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Act implementation and testing, IT audit, and Service Organization Control (SOC) report testing. In addition, Carl has experience performing business continuity planning (BCP) reviews, disaster recovery planning (DRP) reviews, and Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation Improvement Act (FDICIA) control design and implementation. Prior to joining SingerLewak LLP, Carl was a CFO for a global cinema technology solutions company, a Director for a top 10 public accounting firm, and a lead internal auditor for a Fortune 100 automotive manufacturing company.

Carl holds a B.A. in Accounting from Michigan State University and a M.S. in Finance from the University of Michigan - Dearborn. Currently, Carl serves as the Secretary for ISACA LA. Carl has earned several professional certifications, including Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute, Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE) from ISACA, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from ISC2, and Lean Six Sigma / DFSS Green Belt from Aveta Business Institute. Additionally, Carl is an active member of several professional organizations, such as the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), ISC2, Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), and Project Management Institute (PMI).
