History

SingerLewak continued to expand, entering the Rocky Mountain region in 2015 by merging with Schenkein and Stark in Denver. In 2016, the firm strengthened its Southern California presence by merging with Ahern Adcock Devlin LLP. That same year, the firm added Franchise Advisory Services by partnering with DCV Franchise Group. In 2017, SingerLewak merged with Kakimoto & Nagashima LLP, expanding its expertise in the Asia market.

History

SingerLewak is a dynamic CPA firm that has expanded and diversified its services since its inception in 1959. Over the years, the firm has introduced new practice areas, entered new markets, and grown geographically. From Public Companies and Forensics Accounting to Franchise Advisory and State and Local Tax practices, SingerLewak offers a wide range of services to meet the evolving needs of its clients across various industries. In 2000, the addition of Forensics Accounting, Business Valuation, and Litigation Support marked a significant milestone. The launch of Enterprise Risk Management Services, including IT consulting, in 2005 further enhanced the firm’s capabilities. In 2009, SingerLewak incorporated state and local tax practices, providing clients with tailored solutions for complex tax regulations. Expanding geographically, the firm merged with ACSB in 2013 to strengthen its presence in Northern California, and with Biggs & Co in 2014, adding Insolvency and Fiduciary Services.

In 2019, the firm grew further by merging with Holben Hay Lake Balzer, LLC in Denver and Steven T. Giorgione, CPA in Nevada, enhancing its services in the Colorado and Nevada regions. In 2020, SingerLewak merged with Boldt Carlisle + Smith, LLC, strengthening its presence in the Pacific Northwest. 

The firm also joined forces with Andrea Link, co-owner of Laurand Management, adding boutique tax and business management services. Despite the challenges of the global pandemic, SingerLewak’s growth continued, demonstrating its commitment to delivering value to its clients.

The firm’s expansion remained steady in 2021 and 2022. In 2021, SingerLewak merged with Gorelick & Uslaner CPAs, enabling it to offer more tailored solutions to family-owned and entrepreneurial sectors in Southern California. In 2022, the firm merged with HBLA of Irvine and Roschke & Wall of Agoura Hills, further expanding its services and geographic reach in Southern California.
