Doug Parham
Doug is a highly qualified accountant with a B.S. in Business Administration (accounting and finance, with a minor in computer science) from Oregon State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed by the Oregon Board of Accountancy and a licensed municipal auditor with the same board. Doug is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Oregon Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA), where he received a lifetime membership honoree. Additionally, he is an active member of the OCPA Legislative Action Committee, Rotary Club of Salem, and Salem Rotary Foundation, where he serves as a board member. He is also the treasurer of the Rotary Triathlon of Salem and a member of the Salem Chamber of Commerce Executive Leadership Council. Doug began his career with BC+S in 1977 and became a partner of the firm in 1991. In 2020, he merged with the firm into SingerLewak and currently serves as the Regional Tax Partner for the Pacific Northwest Region. With his ample experience in the field, Doug enjoys helping clients make meaningful and beneficial decisions in their lives or business activities. His areas of expertise include tax planning and return review services for individuals, business entities, trusts, nonprofit organizations, and employee benefit plans. He is also well-versed in guiding clients through gifting strategies, estate planning, and estate administration.
