Without a doubt, we are living in quite unprecedented times. The outbreak of COVID-19 has all of us scrambling for answers. In response to this very fluid situation of COVID-19, there is nothing more important to SingerLewak’s leadership team than our clients and our employees. We would like to reassure you that our firm leadership is continuing to closely monitor the development of COVID-19 and following every recommendation by the Center for Disease Control and the World Health Organization.

 

CLIENT WORK AND SERVICE

The priority of our firm is to keep our employees safe during this time so that we may continue to serve you without interruption. Long ago, our firm implemented a “work where you are” policy. Our infrastructure allows our professionals to service their clients from multiple locations. We are in constant communication with our employees about their wellbeing and they have been instructed not to travel to any client location during tax and audit season if they are not feeling well. You will be notified by your engagement partner in the event there is any change to your service team. Your engagement partner will also keep you informed of any new deadlines imposed by the IRS or any other Federal agency should this impact any part of your engagement.

 

EMPLOYEE WELL BEING AND TECHNOLOGY

Our office kitchens are always fully stocked with disposable paper items and healthy eating options as well as Vitamin C supplements and general medicine cabinets. In addition to providing our employees healthy options, our firm has been at the forefront of implementing state of the art technology and methods so our employees can work from anywhere, anytime without disruption to client work. This has allowed our firm and our professionals to continue to work business as usual without interruption to client work. The buildings we operate in are taking extreme precautions in maintaining sanitized environments and our operations team is keeping close contact with our facility management team for updates.

 

Just like you, we are taking every necessary precaution and following the guidelines of Federal agencies and experts to maintain calmness and safe environments for all of us.

We will continue to keep you informed through your engagement partner should there be any drastic changes to the way we service your engagement. For now, we are taking extraordinary precautions and measures by keeping you, and our employees, wellbeing in mind.
