Mark Cook is a partner in SingerLewak’s Orange County Tax practice.
Mark has more than 22 years of tax experience including more than 16 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers as a tax partner, preceded by four years with Ernst & Young. His clients have ranged in size from emerging small and mid-cap companies to Fortune 500 businesses. Mark’s expertise includes corporate planning, tax compliance, review of tax controls, and providing acquisition due diligence and structuring alternatives for venture capital participants.

Mark received his Bachelor of Science degree from Southeast Missouri State University with majors in Accounting and Economics, and he earned his MBA from the University of Arkansas. Mark is a Certified Public Accountant in Missouri and California and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
In the community, Mark has contributed his time to KWMU (an NPR affiliate), United Way, Junior Achievement, and the Youth and Family Center. He served as a co-chairman of the 2000 Mid-America Tax Conference and serves as a frequent speaker and writer and is a regular contributing editor for the Tax Clinic column in the Tax Adviser.
